Street Bikes Book
The final project of my Foundation Diploma; a brief I wrote for myself about something or another. The outcome was this book containing a survey I had made of bikes locked up in the street in London, Berlin and Bournemouth. For my survey I photographed all the bikes I encountered, mapped their location, detailed their specifications and wrote a personal review. The book was illustrated with distribution drawings I made from my data. It was a pretty fun project really.

Deluxe BMX headtube logo
Crest style logo design for Deluxe BMX. Made to echo classic embossed headtube badges but printed on a foil sticker, providing a cost effective and stylish solution. The concept reinforces the modern aesthetic of the brand while demonstrating its reverence of bicycle tradition.

Addicted to Reading
A series of posters near faithfully replicating the first pages of novels. The outcome of a 2 week university project titled ‘Addicted to reading.’ The plan was to encourage the viewers of the posters to start reading and want to read on from the first page, thus using the addictive power of reading to broaden potential horizons.

Real world typefaces

I don’t really like photoshop work that tries to fake the possible; these are real. The donut type was made during my foundation course and it took me a day to make and photograph the lot. I forgot the butter so they felt like rocks to eat. The allen key type was made from a key I found tidying my room. It is just a cut n’ pasted photograph.
